Resonance (共鳴, Kyōmei) is the 47th chapter of the Gantz manga, written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku.

Synopsis
The chapter begins directly after the end of the previous one; Kei Kurono is surrounded by Tanaka Aliens inside a narrow corridor, with a large, muscular alien in the room directly in front of him. Kurono is initially convinced that he is going to die, before questioning what the creature in front of him actually is, concluding that it must be similar to a "last boss". The Aliens around him then begin to repeat the name "Yuzo" over and over again, and after a moment of deliberation, Kurono lies and says that he is Yuzo. The Tanaka Aliens seem happy by this and ask Kurono several strange questions. Kurono is confused by this, but two chicks then jump on his shoulder, with one beginning to nip at his neck, drawing blood in the process. Kurono attempts to gently pull it off in order to avoid the ire of the aliens, but the infant begins to scream, causing the Tanaka Aliens to wear angry expressions, although they do not attempt to move.
Kurono notices that the large Tanaka Alien has still not reacted, and he places the chick down and moves towards him. In the process, however, he steps on a chick, causing it to scream in pain, which ultimately causes the large alien to turn its head, get up and walk towards him, and the chapter ends with the massive alien directly in front of Kurono.
