Synopsis[]
The chapter begins with Masaru Kato, Kei Kishimoto, Masanobu Hojo and Sadayo Suzumura holding the giant Buddha aliens foot above the stunned passerby, who is smoking underneath, unaware of their presence. Masaru confirms that Kishimoto is alright and Masanobu states that the weight on them is increasing, before he sees Sadayo's face for the first time and is taken aback by how attractive she is. The four of them try to get the old man to move but he is unable to hear them, and the ground begins to crack underneath their feet as the pressure increases. Sei Sakuraoka loudly steals his car, however, gaining his attention and getting him to run away from the Buddha alien just before its foot comes down and crushes everyone underneath.
Kei Kurono is in shock for a moment, believing Masaru and Kishimoto to be dead, until the alien steps forward and everyone is revealed to have survived, immediately dispelling any worry.
He then turns his attention to the giant alien directly in front of him, shooting it several times and avoiding two powerful palm strikes into the ground. Kurono then shoots it in the face, blowing off a small section of its forehead, and the chapter ends with the alien clenching its fist and wearing a furious expression.
