The Only One (唯一人, Tada Hitori) is the 160th chapter of the Gantz manga, written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku.

Synopsis

The chapter begins with Yoshikazu Suzuki being surrounded by four Vampires who are preparing to kill him, one of them going over to drink the blood of Bob Morris.

Meanwhile, in the Gantz room, Kei Kurono is panicking while asking Shion Izumi what the things that attacked them were, before Shion states that he wouldn't know and that everyone else is probably dead. Hiroto Sakurai, however, states that if anyone did in fact survive, they would be transferred back, which calms Kurono down somewhat.

Before Yoshikazu can be killed, however, he fires at the Vampires using his X-Pistol, shouting that he wants to be like Kurono, breaking Hikawa's pistol and forcing the others to put some distance between them and Yoshikazu. He manages to do this for several moments before Hikawa strikes him with his sword on the right side of his body, straight through his collar bone. While he lies bleeding out on the floor, he hallucinates about his deceased wife before waking up in the Gantz room, having just been transferred, at which point the chapter ends.
