The cover is a page taken from the actual chapter, with Kei Kurono looking at the dozens of Vampire corpses created by Shion Izumi and wondering if they are human and thinking of how Shion could do such a thing in public.
Synopsis[]
The chapter begins with Kei Kurono looking at dozens of Vampire corpses created by Shion Izumi while holding Tae Kojima close, wondering if they are human and how Shion could do such a thing in such a public place. He then thinks that doing such a thing is far beyond his capabilities.
The chapter then cuts to Shion using his invisibility device while running from Saitou and several other vampires, successfully dodging a number of their attacks and killing two of them before he is grabbed and his Gantz Suit is damaged, causing his invisibility and the suit itself to malfunction. Never the less, he is still able to kill the two remaining vampires using his Gantz Sword alone, leaving only Saitou who states that he isn't going to kill him, at which point the chapter ends.
