Afterimage (残像, Zanzō) is the 171th chapter of the Gantz manga, written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku.

This seems to be the first colour cover page. It shows Reika Shimohira on the cover wearing a flower-patterned bikini, white blouse, soft suit boots and gloves while holding an x-gun.
Synopsis[]
The chapter begins with Kei Kurono eating by himself at his home before reminiscing about the times before he and Tae Kojima ended their relationship.
When he is in class the next day, Reika Shimohira sends him a picture of herself in class, with Kurono's other classmates taking notice and taking his phone from him. One of them scrolls to the next picture to see an image of Tae before Kurono takes his phone back and tells them to "fuck off".
Kurono continues to think of Tae while crying and she can be seen doing the same thing while drawing a picture of him.
They briefly see each other in a school corridor before she runs away before Kurono can talk to her.
Kurono is called to the Gantz room while he is at home and he puts on his Gantz suit as a result, while Tae tells her mother that she is going out to take pictures for a manga she is working on.
In the Gantz room, everyone from the previous mission is present with the addition of five other new players. Reika apologises to Kurono for being followed on their date and the picture which was spread as a result. Kurono doesn't respond, instead telling everyone that isn't wearing a suit to put one on if they want to survive. Gantz shows them their target, the Ring Alien, and Kurono states that he wants everyone to come back alive if at all possible.
When they are teleported into the Game Area, Kurono tells the newcomers to move away from the direction they are going if they hear an alarm, and the chapter ends with them spotting the first Ring Alien.
