This cover is part of the actual chapter it shows Shion Izumi standing on a rooftop looking down on the scene of Tae Kojima running towards an almost beaten Kei Kurono and the bleeding to death Ryotaro Haga surrounded by Joji Tomioka, Naoichi Mikawa and Kouki Inaba.
Synopsis[]
The chapter begins with Tae Kojima running towards a battered Kei Kurono, who is surrounded by Ryotaro Haga, Joji Tomioka, Naoichi Mikawa and Kouki Inaba, while Shion Izumi looms on a rooftop, Gantz Sword in hand. Kurono sees Tae coming towards him and Shion behind her on the rooftop, crying out in horror and grief as he jumps down and slashes Tae down her back, fatally wounding her. Kurono and Tae embrace as the former continues to sob while Tae dies in his arms. Reika Shimohira looks on in shock and sadness while Daizaemon Kaze looks down with a seemingly distraught expression on his face. Shion raises his sword once more, presumably in order to decapitate the two of them, but lowers it once he sees Tae being transferred away, at which point the chapter ends.
