Confession (告白, Kokuhaku) is the 77th chapter of the Gantz manga, written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku.

Kei Kishimoto is seen in a loose fitting summer dress, with one hand she is seen holding her summer hat to prevent the wind from blowing it off and the other holding up her sandal. Next to her, a happy looking Rice is seen standing on his high legs with his tongue out.

Synopsis

After seeing Masanobu Hojo and Sadayo Suzumura's corpses, Masaru Kato screams in grief and attempts to shoot the Kannon alien with his capture gun. One of the Kannon's Guards kicks it out of his hands before he is able to do so, however, causing Masaru to reach for his regular X-Gun instead and shoot the Kannon in the head. This causes the aliens face to become disfigured for a brief moment before it activates some sort of device in one of its many left arms and heals all of its damage. Masaru is shocked by this until the alien tries to throw an extremely corrosive material at him from a vase in his left hand. Before he is killed, Kei Kishimoto jumps in front of him, blocking the substance from hitting him and completely eating through her suit, causing her bottom section to fall from her torso and leaving Masaru to grieve as he holds her up.

This causes Kei Kurono to lose his composure and he screams as he jumps over the two of them and knees the Kannon in the face, knocking it backwards off its pedestal. The chapter ends with a dying Kishimoto confessing her love for Masaru.
