Powerless (奇襲失敗, Kishū Shippai) is the 83rd chapter of the Gantz manga, written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku.

A woman, possibly Reika Shimohira, is seen wearing a one-piece swimsuit, sitting on a made up bed while putting on Gantz suit boots on and wearing Gantz suit gloves. She is bending over to do this showing a large amount of her cleavage.

Synopsis

The chapter begins with Sei Sakuraoka facing off against the Kannon, breathing heavily after engaging it in combat in the previous chapter. The Kannon begins melting away due to Sei kicking its jug full of corrosive liquid onto it in the previous chapter, but soon begins healing after activating its healing device. However, the device also begins to melt away, stopping the Kannon from healing further and causing it to panic and scream. Sei shouts "I won" to Kei Kurono and pulls out her X-Pistol, preparing to shoot it in the head. The alien shoots her through the chest with its laser, however, before cutting a line upwards as she falls backwards, spews blood, and dies thinking of Kurono, who begins crying after witnessing her death. The Kannon, still heavily disfigured, then walks up to Kurono and looks down at him, before turning around and walking away.

The chapter ends with the Kannon walking past the corpse of the Grumpy Alien before Juzo Togo ambushes it from the Grumpy Aliens skull, stabbing it with one of the Buddha Alien spears.
