After Izumi's massacre, many of the people he killed were transferred to the Gantz room, along with him and Kurono. When Kurono tried to tell people what was going on, he punched him hard in the stomach, and knocked him out for awhile. Izumi then snuck off unseen and changed into his Gantz suit in a side room where he got a sword as well.

Gantz showed them a target called the Kappe alien, but as before, the picture shown isn't always the boss.

The Kappe alien itself actually posed little danger during the mission. Rather, the threat lay with the "pets" of the Kappe alien, which were in turn a wide variety of aliens posing as dinosaur statues in a museum. Notable among them: three Triceratops with the ability to stand upright and increase their muscle mass, several Tyrannosaurus Rex could shoot fireballs from their mouths, and numerous raptor-shaped aliens with razor sharp tails.

The Kappe alien itself could increase in size and strength, but was eventually beaten by Kaze and killed by Izumi.

Near the end, a massive alien resembling a Brontosaurus appeared. It had a massive blade that projected from its skull, which it swung to cleave its opponents. Izumi used stealth mold to sneak up to it, and tried to kill it with his sword. His sword hit the blade on its head, which blocked his attack. Izumi then ran from it, it chasing him, and blasting about with a powerful energy beam attack. Kurono eventually realized that its brain is located in its torso and not the head, and shoots it there with an X-gun.

Though the mission ended, this brought a new wave of problems, as the missions ended the Vampire bosses lead by Hikawa made their first appearance and attacked a large portion of the remaining Gantz team that were still alive and killed most of them.

Brontosaurus alienEdit

First appearing to the entire Gantz team in Chapter 152: Unavoidable, the Brontosaurus Alien is a dinosaur behemoth that emerges from the Tokyo museum after the Gantz team had finished destroying its smaller dinosaur brethren. Initially, he is seen fighting with Izumi. It is a colossal creature, having the resemblance of a dinosaur, but with humanoid eyes and large tusks extending from above and below its head. This alien is considered the "boss" of the Jurassic mission.

After smashing its way out of the museum, it tells the Gantz team that it will "destroy the ones who have inflicted pain upon my children" in reference to the smaller dinosaur raptors that the team had annihilated earlier. Kurono decides to take the blame and tells the boss it was he who killed its children and tries to lure the alien away from the other Gantz members. With aid from Izumi, Kurono is able to kill the Brontosaurus Alien.

The alien (Due to its size) possesses incredible strength. It has two horns which make a crescent like shape on its head, these horns made of an extremely sharp material and act more like swords than horns, due to their slashing potential. The sharpness of the sword is comparable to that of the Gantz swords, it can cut clean through almost anything, suits included, it is also quite accurate considering the speed at which it swings its head, and how hard it must be to see when attached to ones head. Another one of this alien's traits, is the immense speed at which is can swing its "sword" adorned head, with even a skilled swordsmanship specialist such as Izumi struggling to keep up with the speed, and stated if not for the suit, he would die near instantly. Even the notoriously quick and agile Kurono has difficulty tracking its speed, although he didn't have a suit at the time. And finally, the alien is able to manifest "new" eyes at will nearly anywhere on its body, most prominently making them appear on the underside of its belly, the one place many would think it cannot see. This prevents people exploiting its species seemingly only weak point.

• This mission become the start of a series of new arcs where the main survivors of this mission have become regulars players (Those who pass each mission and survive to play more.)

• The ganguro girl(face painted brown) who was killed by a pack of raptors in this mission, can be seen in the very first episode of the Gantz anime at the train station when the homeless man falls on the tracks. She is seen there and her thoughts saying she "needs to get laid soon."

• The first appearance of all four vampire bosses.
